- October 10 (Shenandoah Valley Marching Invitational) - 1st place in class, 1st in music, 1st in general effect.
Then placed 4th overall in unclassed finals, with 2nd place general effect.
- October 17 (JMU Parade of Champions) - 1st place in class, 2nd in music, 1st in visual performance, and 1st in general effect.
- October 24 (Bassett HS Drums Along the Blue Ridge) - 1st in class, 1st in music, 1st in marching, 1st in General Effect, 1st in Drum Major, 2nd in Percussion, 3rd in Guard.
Then placed 5th in unclassed finals competition.
- October 31 (VBODA Marching Assessment) - Straight 1s from all judges. Overall rating of Superior.
In the final weekend, the band earned ratings of Superior from all 7 judges at Virginia State Marching Assessment, earning an overall rating of Superior. The ratings range from 1 to 5: 1 being Superior, 2 being Excellent, 3 being Good, 4 being Fair, and 5 being Poor.
Band director, Becky Ford, created a new event called "Rockingham County / Harrisonburg City Marching Showcase" to foster a spirit of community and support among the local school bands and give a non-competitive opportunity for the kids to see each other's shows.
