stock market game

On Friday, May 10th, BHS students Caden Blais, Cain Warlitner, and Ryder Hess traveled to Richmond for the Virginia Council on Economic Education Awards Luncheon. They were joined with their Economics and Personal Finance teacher Kate Hollenberg and Superintendant Dr. Larry Shifflett. At the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond they were recognized for their 2nd place finish overall in the state in the annual Stock Market Game beating out over 1300 teams. The competition was run over 10 weeks. Each team was given $100,000 to invest. In those 10 weeks, the BHS team earned $11,195.67. More photos can be seen on the GNN Instagram and Facebook pages.
